Washington Heights, NYC | Coffee Shop
This was one of my 6 AM stops before heading into work at the NYP Columbia campus. It was right on Broadway and they were open for the 6 AM crowd. Apart from coffee and some displayed baked goods, you can find some of their specialty drinks on a chalkboard by the register. One of my favorites on a cold day was the Snickers drink with mocha, caramel and hazelnut topped with some microfoam.
The staff there was nice. There's street parking in front of the store. They have a variety of baked goods on display. My favorites are their scones. If you want to sit down and people watch you can but a majority of the people come in to get their drink, baked good and are off to their next location.
